Early Attention for At The Hour Between Dog and Wolf
Tara Ison’s At the Hour Between Dog and Wolf is receiving some nice prepub attention.
In an excellent review, Publishers Weekly called the novel, “A chilling psychological portrait of a young Jewish girl hiding in France during WWII…This challenging work stands out among historical fiction of the period.”
The Jewish Book Council named the novel as a recommended title for winter 2023.
The book also received a starred review in the Jan/Feb 2023 issue of Foreword, with the magazine saying that, “Tragedies abound in the hidden life of a Jewish girl in the historical novel At the Hour Between Dog and Wolf—and questions about what moral compromises are the acceptable cost of survival.
